Andy Taylor

Assistant Director of Events

Andy began his Hyatt career in 2000 and has over 30+ years in the hospitality industry. His knowledge in planning and executing events over the years has allowed him to build strong client relationships in Columbus and the industry.

Julie Bumgarner

Director of Events

Julie graduated from Paul Smith’s College AA in Culinary Arts and RIT, BA in Hotel, Resort Management. She has been with Hyatt for 25+ years, all of which working with Events from planning to execution. Julie enjoys seeing an event come together with creative touches and exceeding guests' expectations.

Debbie Famiglietti

SENIOR EVENT PLANNING MANAGER

Debbie graduated from Johnson and Wales College with a degree in Hotel Restaurant Management and has over 30 years in the hospitality industry, mostly focused in Events. She started with Hyatt in 2000 as a seasoned Event Sales Manager and then transitioned to an Event Planning Manager in 2005. Debbie revels in the victory of every successful conference!

Jeff Maxwell

Event Planning Manager

Jeff started at Hyatt Regency Columbus in 1989 working in outlets, then was promoted to the convention services team. He was promoted in 1999 to Event Planning Manager and is known as the “joker," as well as the dog walker for the bark ambassadors.

Monica Darst

Event Sales Manager

Monica has over 20+ years of leadership experience in the hospitality industry. Years spent overseeing everything from planning to execution of events helps her assist clients in proactively designing a full experience for business and social events.

Lexi Higgins

Event Planning Manager

Born and raised a buckeye, and a graduate of The Ohio State University, Lexi specializes in local event planning. Her background in Interior Design and wedding planning has enriched her attention to detail and motivation to find innovative solutions for the most intricate events.
